REDDITCH'S three-day business show made a flying start yesterday with a top Ministry of Defence buyer among the visitors.
More than 200 firms in the town are taking part in the three day exhibition which is attracting business visitors and members of the public from throughout the West Midlands.
The show was officially opened by John Butcher, industry minister with special responsibility for the West Midlands.

HIs attendance on the first day, along with Mr Tom Houghton, from the defence ministry, marks a major coup for the organisers of the Lakeside exhibition.
Mr Houghton was persuaded to leave his Whitehall office and visit the show by Arthur Organ, head of the town's Business Information Centre and chairman of the Business Forum.
"I hoped they would send someone and am delighted that the ministry has responded," said Mr Organ.
"It is an important catch for the show and another opportunity for industry in the town to show what it's worth."
