THE annual vestry meeting was held at St Mary's Parish Church, Studley, on Monday evening.
The Rev F J Thompson presided. Mr Vale read the church accounts for the year, which showed the total amount raised was £177 5s 8d, but in this amount was the sum of £26 17s, which had been transferred from an old bazaar account which had been lying in the bank for a long time.
The accounts were passed and considered very satisfactory. Mr Vale pointed out, however, that their income was smaller than their expenditure and had they not transferred the bazaar balance to the church funds, then they would have been in debt.
