A MEETING of the managers of the Crabbs Cross Council schools was held on Monday night. Mr J Avery presided and there were also present Messrs W Moore, H Poole, C F Farr and C E Knight (correspondent).
The correspondent reported he had received a letter from Mr A W Priestly (Director of Education) in which he stated that it had been decided to recomment to the Education Committee that the playground of the school be asphalted according to the tender of Messrs J Smart and Company of Birmingham at a cost of £237.8s 9d.
