Great service
I WOULD like to express my continuing gratitude for the children's centres in and around Redditch.
They provide an outstanding service for mothers and their children.
As a first time mum, I find that I'm on a steep learning curve, but the sessions available at my local centres are invaluable.
I have met so many lovely staff, children and mums in a similar position to myself. The centres offer a great timetable of different activities- messy play, music groups, soft play, short courses etc, where I can attend as and when I am able to, asking in return for just a small donation of 50p if I have it.
If you are struggling to fill your week whilst on maternity leave, I would recommend that you ring your local centre and ask for a timetable of what is on. Great for your confidence, your baby's development and your diary will never have looked so busy - without you being out of pocket!
