Behind bars
THERE has been plenty of media coverage about the cushy and luxurious life many of our criminals are able to lead in prison.
It would seem that many offenders are better off than those of us who lead crime-free lives.
So, with this in mind I would like to book a place this coming winter, when the weather is particularly cold.
Preferably one of our local prisons, such as Hewell Grange, although I wouldn't mind travelling in order to broaden the mind.
So can someone advise me of the type of crime I need to commit. Obviously if it is a really serious offence I wouldn't be inside long enough to benefit, as this Government sends such criminals back onto our streets far too early.
It would appear I would need to stop paying my Council Tax! Now this would lead to a long stretch - hopefully from January onwards. Then I would welcome having a tv provided, a warm cell, company, three square meals a day and a few other of life's luxuries.
