Give it a shot!
NATIONAL Shooting Week, which will run from Saturday, May 3 - Sunday, May 11, looks set to be bigger than ever.
More than 200 public open days are taking place across the nation in this Olympic year. Shooting is one of the most inclusive Olympic and Paralympic sports, where gender, age and disability are no barriers to success.
National Shooting Week is a Government-backed initiative, organised by the British Shooting Sports Council, the umbrella body for shooting sports.
The week is aimed at people who would like to experience target shooting, one of the UK's most popular sports. They will receive a warm welcome from shooting grounds and clubs. Beginners can find out where their nearest shooting event is during the week by going to www.nationalshootingweek.co.uk, so why not give it a shot?
