Holiday help for lone parents
CALLING all lone parents and single access parents.
There is something like 1.7 million lone parents and access parents in this country, 90 per cent of lone parents are women.
In the UK, more than half of one parent families live below the poverty line. Holidays are a rarity.
Discounted holidays are now up for grabs with national charity HELP.
Lone parents and single access parents have a chance to meet and make new friends while enjoying a fabulous break away. Loneliness and boredom is not an option on our holidays and we have thought of everything to give you and the kids a truly memorable break away.
And the best news is the price.
We negotiate with Pontins, Haven and British Holidays to come up with a price lone parents can afford. Prisoners and Forces whose partner is away on active duty can also use our charity.
HELP have their own caravans at: - Haven Primrose Hill Valley at Filey, Yorkshire; Haven Golden Sands at Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire; and Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo, North Yorkshire.
Book early to avoid disappointment. For more details contact; HELP PO Box 244, Gainsborough, DN21 9AQ. Tel/fax: 01427 668717 during office hours. Outside of office hours, please leave a message as it is put through to a volunteers home. E-mail: janice@help.fslife.co.uk. Web: www.helphols.co.uk.
