Wrong place

WHEN I saw the picture of Karen Lumley outside Carpark No 7 (Your view March 12) I thought for a moment that she might have been protesting at its partial closure - no such luck.

If the Super Surgery' is in fact required, and I have heard arguments against, then Church Road is no place for it.

It would stick out like a sore thumb in contrast with the existing buildings, and it would cause even more a traffic congestion in that part of town. What is required is adequate parking provision for existing surgeries, shops and businesses.

I think Redditch Council was right in refusing the application.
