THE April coffee morning brought a couple of new faces and a reasonable turn out.
Members were asked to relate any "not so good experiences" while an in-patient in hospital recently.
There were no complaints from this group!
Our speaker was the pharmaceutical advisor from the PCT, who talked about safety with medicines.
Not to mix them or share them with other people with similar symptoms!
how to store them safely and how to dispose of those which are out of date.
Questions were asked about herbal medicines and alternative remedies.
A most informative talk and one which could reduce accidents among older people.
On May 8 the speaker will be from Deaf Direct so if you have a hearing problem come along and find out what help is available.
The meeting starts at 10am in the Ecumenical Centre.
