A body has been found in the hunt for a 28-year-old woman who disappeared at the weekend.
Hollie Kerrell, 28, was last seen at her home in Knighton, Powys, at around 10am on Sunday and has not been heard from since, Dyfed Powys Police said.
On Thursday afternoon, Dyfed-Powys Police announced that a 35-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of her murder.
A few hours later, the force revealed that a body believed to be that of Ms Kerrell had been found.
Superintendent Jon Cummins said: “We are saddened to confirm a body has been found during the search of missing Hollie Kerrell.
“Our thoughts are with her family, who are being supported by specially trained officers at this extremely sad time.
“The man arrested on suspicion of murder remains in police custody for questioning. I would like to reassure the community we are not looking for anyone else in connection with Hollie’s death.”
Supt Cummins urged anyone who may have any information about the death to contact them by calling 101, particularly if they had seen her from 5pm on Saturday April 21 onward.
