Free fireworks spectacular at Arrow Valley Park

PEOPLE are invited to Arrow Valley Park on Thursday, November 1 for an evening of fun, fireworks and fairground rides as the annual firework spectacular returns.

This year sees the usual funfair and fireworks as well as new roadshow entertainment to keep everyone entertained. Residents are welcome from 6pm when the funfair opens and the firework display is set to start at 7.30pm. Admission is free.

There will also be a free park and ride service from Merse Road, Moons Moat so that this year residents don’t even need to worry about where to leave their cars.

Councillor Luke Stephens, whose portfolio covers leisure and culture, said: “It’s that time of the year again when it starts getting dark earlier and we all brave the cold to watch the fireworks, get dizzy on the funfair and buy hot drinks just to warm our hands up.

“Everyone is welcome to come to this year’s event at Arrow Valley Country Park and it looks set to be just as much fun as in previous years. So grab your coat and gloves and come down for a night to remember.”

Residents are also reminded to be sensible pet owners and keep pets indoors on bonfire night.
