Nominate your Redditch Council customer service hero

CUSTOMERS who have received a super service from staff at Redditch Council are invited to nominate them for an award.

The Customer Hero Award has been launched as part of the council’s drive to continually improve the service given to everyone and as part of National Customer Services Week which started on October 1.

National Customer Service Week is an opportunity to raise awareness of customer service and the vital role it plays in successful business practice and the growth of the UK economy.

Everyone nominated in the council’s awards will receive a special customer hero badge and will be mentioned in the staff newsletter and on the website.

Head of customer services, Amanda de Warr, said: “It is often very easy to complain about customer service as we are rarely asked to comment if we feel we have had a positive experience.

“So we want to hear from our customers about when we have got it right.

“Our staff do go the extra mile and we have some unsung customer heroes at the council.

“Please help them shine and let us know how we make gone a long way to make your day.”

The awards will be held quarterly so people should get their nominations in this round by December 17.

Satisfied customers can complete a nomination form at the Customer Service Centre or online at www.redditchbc.gov.uk.
