ASPIRING entrepreneurs in Redditch are getting more time to expand their ideas and prepare a business plan.
It was reported recently in the Advertiser Redditch Town Centre Partnership (RTCP) was launching a special scheme with the aim of boosting business in the town.
Following the successful launch of the scheme, called Pitch Your Plan, the deadlines for registering initial interest have been extended.
The scheme aims to attract independent shops and eateries into vacant premises in the old town area of Redditch around Church Green, Alcester Street and Unicorn Hill.
It forms part of the RTCP’s overall plan to transform the town into a more thriving shopping centre.
RTCP Director Ros Sidaway said: “We’re delighted by the level of interest received since launching Pitch Your Plan and we want to ensure that those interested have time to expand their ideas and prepare a business plan.”
“Extending the submission deadlines will help them do that.”

Full application forms must be completed and returned by noon on October 26.
In addition, a business surgery will be held at NEW College, Peakman Street campus, on October 11 from 4 - 6pm.
