PASSENGERS waiting to hop on board buses in Matchborough can now wait in a brand new shelter, complete with skyline.

The mural on the shelter, featuring the area's most recognisable buildings, aims to celebrate the built environment of the town.

Funded as part of the choose how you move Redditch project, it was created by local artist Noel Campbell.

Councillor Juliet Brunner said: "I'm really thrilled that we are able to continue Redditch Roadway Arts as they make such a difference to the community.

“I'm working on a calendar of bus shelters to rival Redditch Roundabouts."

The shelter replaces one damaged by water and its installation is the third on this route over the last five years.
