A CCTV image of a man police would like to trace
POLICE investigating a burglary in Redditch have released CCTV images of a man they would like to trace.
It happened on Monday, September 17, in Yvonne Road, Crabbs Cross.
Access was gained over a fence into the back garden just before 2pm.
Stolen were cash and jewellery, including a man's gold wedding ring, a man's ionic ring and a gold bracelet with gold fish hooks on.
The man police would like to trace is described as white, in his early 20s, about 5ft 6ins to 5ft 8ins in height, wearing a grey hooded top and light blue jeans, and carrying a blue rucksack with black stripes on it.
Detective Constable O'Reilly from Redditch CID said: "We would like to hear from anyone who saw this man in the Yvonne Road or Evesham Road area just before or after 2pm that afternoon, or from anyone thinks they know who he is.
"Evesham Road is a busy road and we know there would have been passing traffic as in the one of the images a blue car is seen driving by. We hope the CCTV images of the man we would like to speak to in connection with this burglary will jog someone's memory."
Witnesses or anyone with information about the burglary should contact Det Con O'Reilly on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident 393-S-170912, or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
