Teenage girl punched and kicked by trio of men

A TEENAGE girl was punched and kicked during an assault in Redditch and police are appealing for witnesses to the attack to come forward.

It happened on Easemore Road, near Abbeydale estate, at around 5.15pm on Tuesday, September 18 as the 17-year-old victim was walking towards the town.

She was approached by three unknown men, who asked the whereabouts of her partner. She replied that he was no longer in the Redditch area, and was punched twice to her face, causing her to fall to the ground, and then kicked to the ribs.

The offenders are described as white men, aged about 19, who ran off towards Sainsbury's. One was wearing grey Adidas tracksuit bottoms with blue lines down the side, a dark blue jacket, and a balaclava. The other two were wearing dark clothing.
