Man to be assessed by psychiatrist for fitness to plead and stand trial

A MAN accused of affray and damaging property is to be assessed by a psychiatrist to decide if he is fit to plead and stand trial.

Mark Hagan, aged 43, of Woodrow Centre, Redditch, was remanded back into custody after appearing at Worcester Crown Court.

Judge John Cavell adjourned the case until the week beginning October 29 for a medical report to be completed.
