Burglar jailed for three-and-a-half years

A MAN who burgled homes in Redditch, Aldridge and Walsall has been sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison after appearing in court on Monday, September 3.


Adam Richards, aged 25, of Margam Crescent, Bloxwich, Walsall, appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court charged with burgling a home in Birchfield Road, Redditch, on the afternoon of April 6 2012.

He broke into the property and after making an untidy search stole £1,500 in cash.

Richards was also charged with burglary with intent to steal from homes in Stonelea, Aldridge, on March 27, Lichfield Road, Walsall, on April 5 and Northgate, Aldridge, on April 13.

He pleaded guilty to all four charges and was given concurrent three-and-a-half year sentences for each offence.

Another man is due to appear at Worcester Crown Court on Monday, September 24, also charged with the burglary in Birchfield Road.
