REDDITCH residents are being asked to decide who they want representing them on the council.

The local elections will be held this Thursday, May 3.

One councillor will be elected for each of the below wards, except in Church Hill, where there are two vacant seats due to the death of Robin King.

In Batchley and Brockhill the candidates are Tom Baker-Price (Conservative), Loretta Griffin (Green), Pattie Hill (Labour) and Peter Merricks (Lib Dem).

Standing in central ward are Greg Chance (Labour), Mohammed Khan (Green), David Smith (Conservative) and Diane Thomas (Lib Dem).

In Church Hill, where there are two seats, candidates are Isabel Armstrong (Independent), Richard Armstrong (Independent), kath Banks (Conservative), Lee Bradley (Green Party), David Gee (Lib Dem), Bill Hartnett (Labour), Kathy Haslam (Conservative), Rosemary Kerry, (Green Party), Daniel Taylor (Lib Dem), Agnes Weicek (Independent) and Pat Witherspoon (Labour).

The names of the candidates in Greenlands are Joe Baker (Labour), William Norton (Conservative) Anthony Pitt (Lib Dem) and Rylma White (Green).

In Headless Cross and Oakenshaw there is Roger Bennett (Conservative), Yassar Mahmood (Labour), John Stanley (Lib Dem) and Alastair Waugh (Green).

Those standing in Matchborough are Emma Bradley (Green), Anita Clayton (Conservative), John Fisher (Labour) and simon Oliver (Lib Dem).

In Lodge Park there is Mark Shurmer (Labour), Jean Smith (Conservative), Ian Webster (Lib Dem), Kevin White (Green) and Orion Moon and Pam Moon.

In West Ward candidates are Michael Braley (Conservative), Louise Deveney (Green) Rita Hindle (Lib Dem) and John Witherspoon (Labour).

And finally in Winyates the names of the candidates are Malcolm Hall (Lib Dem), Bev Minto (Green), Michael Slevin (Conservative), Yvonne Smith (Labour) and Paul Swansborough (Independent).
