Two arrested and charged following Redditch burglary

TWO people have been arrested and charged with a Redditch burglary which took place yesterday, (July 28).

Police were contacted by a member of the public, who reported a burglary in progress at a house in Oak Tree Avenue at 2.37pm.

Officers rushed to the scene and shortly afterwards arrested a man and a youth in the area, on suspicion of burglary. They were taken to Redditch Police Station. Two laptops, believed to have been stolen in the burglary, have been recovered.

The males who were arrested were charged last night, then released on police bail to appear before Redditch Magistrates on Tuesday, August 10.
