VEGGIES and those wanting to eat more healthily are being invited to a free fast food cookery demo in Redditch.

The Meat Free Made Easy demonstration on Wednesday, August 4, is part of the new Meat-Free Monday environmental campaign.

The aim is to encourage Redditch Council, along with local schools, organisations and businesses to declare a weekly meat-free day.

The event starts at 7.30pm at St George’s Community Hall on St Georges Road and is open to all.
