Sure Start staff out and about in Redditch

STAFF from Sure Start Redditch Children’s Centres will be out and about in the town next week promoting the work of the centres.

On Monday, November 9, staff will be manning information stalls in the Kingfisher Centre by the Worcester Square information kiosk. There will also be face painting, balloon modelling, giveaways and a free prize draw with a chance to win a £40 Early Learning Centre voucher.

Tuesday, November 10 sees staff boarding the Big Red Party Bus to visit Winyates Centre from 10am-noon, Willow Trees Children’s Centre/Church Hill Community Centre from 12.15-2.15pm and Cardy Close in Batchley from 2.30-4.30pm. On Wednesday it’s off to Matchborough shops car park from 10am-noon, the town centre from 12.15-3pm and Smallwood Almshouses from 3.15-5pm. There will be a chance to win a £10 Early Learning Centre voucher at each venue the bus visits.

Judith Willis, children’s centre programme manager, said: “We’re keen for as many eligible families as possible to use the children’s centres. So come down and see us and discover what’s on at your local centre for you and your children.”
