VISITORS to St George’s Church can enjoy the warm weather next weekend at the church’s annual summer fayre.
The fun will take place on Saturday, July 11 from 2-4pm where as well as the usual stalls including cakes, books and bric-a-brac, there will be face painting and the ever popular skittles.
Light music will be provided on the famous three manual organ and the fayre will be opened by a mystery local person who is well known and loved in the district.
Visitors should make sure they wear a good looking hat as they could win the competition for the best hat.
The church is located on St George’s Road and the fayre is in the woodland setting on the lawns that surround the church.
