THIS is the moment unruly football fans climbed atop a moving bus, as thousands spilled onto the town's streets after yesterday's historic game.

Police were called to reports of a disorder, resulting in criminal damage to a car, as hundreds of people gathered on Unicorn Hill following England's win.

The final score was England 6-1 Panama.

Gareth Southgate's young team made it two wins out of two in Group G in spectacular fashion.

Following the game, a swarm of fans were stopping traffic as they celebrated in the street while waving flags and football shirts.

They surrounded a bus, jumping up and down and climbing on top of it, as the driver attempted to make their way down the road.

One man is seen hanging on to the bus as it finally manages to get past.

Sergeant Mandy Partridge, from the police, said even though no arrests were made they still want to speak to witnesses.

“We are aware that this incident followed shortly after the England match and want to reassure residents that throughout the World Cup we have increased resources at peak times, and any disorder will be thoroughly investigated," she said.

“We’re urging everyone to drink responsibly and are warning that officers will take prompt action to deal with any cases of antisocial behaviour.”

Gavin Townsend filmed footage of the incident.
