THE annual Primrose Hospice summer fete returns on Saturday, June 30, with fun for all the family.

There will be numerous craft stalls, raffles, tombolas, a treats including Churchfields Farm ice cream and Banner's pork baps.

Adults can enjoy traditional Tardebigge cider and a Primrose Pimms & Prosecco Bar, while there will also be children's activities including a bouncy castle, traditional games and face painting.

Entertainment comes from the Lickey End First School Choir, Primrose Hospice Choir, Bromsgrove School of Dance, Keith Judson and students from Bromsgrove Rock School.

Anna Wilson, corporate and community fundraiser, said: "The Summer Fete was a huge success for us last year.

"We welcomed local residents along to the hospice and everyone had a great time.

"We are hoping for an even bigger success and turnout this year to raise awareness and funds for Primrose.

"Many of our staff will be available to chat about the services we provide here.

"There is so much more to Primrose than meets the eye and we want to give the local community the chance to come and have a look around and support their local hospice."

The event is being held from noon until 4pm on Saturday, June 30, at the hospice on St Godwald's Road, Bromsgrove, and will be opened by VIP guest Joanne Malin from BBC Midlands Today.

Visitors can look around the hospice's beautiful gardens and also enjoy complementary therapy taster sessions.
