A DEVELOPMENT in Redditch is proving popular with house hunters following a surge in reservations at the site.
Persimmon Homes South Midlands, which are building 207 properties at its Meadow View development in Redditch, has seen buyers snap up early reservations.
Carol Selway, sales director at Persimmon Homes South Midlands, said: “The development is proving incredibly popular with many first-time buyers and growing families alike, with a raft of homes sold off-plan in a matter of weeks.
“Meadow View is set to be a stunning site, offering buyers green open spaces with the Worcestershire countryside right on their doorstep. It’s no surprise these homes are going fast."
As part of the new site, Persimmon is also investing around £1.4 million back into the local area to help improve education, public transport and healthcare facilities.
An estimated £510,000 has been set aside to help improve local transport and road infrastructure, whilst £466,000 is due to go towards improving schools and equipment.
A town centre contribution of £82, 584 is also being made.
