WEST Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses following a crash involving a car and an elderly man in Redditch on Saturday morning (10 March).
At around 9.05am, on Saturday, police were called to the car park of the Co-Op on Headless Cross Drive.
The pedestrian, an 87-year-old man, sustained serious leg injuries.
He is currently in hospital.
The driver of the vehicle, a silver Ford Mondeo, was not injured.
Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision.
