For Redditch customers the contact points at The Space – Winyates Centre, St Andrew’s Church and Willow Trees Community Centre in Church Hill, Woodrow Library in Woodrow Centre, and at The Ecumenical Centre are now suspended.

Liz Williams, community enterprise coordinator for REACH CIC, said: “We are very disappointed with this news which we received today (January 8) although we fully understand that 6 Towns Credit Union feel that this review is necessary.

"We would like to reassure our Redditch supporters that whilst we won’t be servicing the contact points until the review is complete, 6Towns continues to operate is services from their head office in West Bromwich.”

It is not known what the review is for or how long it will go on for.
