STRATFORD MP Nadhim Zahawi, who represents Studley and Alcester, has been given a ministerial role in Theresa May’s reshuffle.
Downing Street has confirmed that Zahawi, who co-founded the polling company YouGov and is a former government apprenticeship tsar, has become Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at Department for Education
Mr Zahawi is a British Conservative Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament for Stratford-on-Avon since 2010, after the retirement of previous MP John Maples.
This is his first ministerial appointment.
He will be an assistant to the new education secretary Damian Hinds.
