THIS year's Alcester Christmas light switch-on has been announced.
The Alcester Christmas Lights Committee recently teamed up with the Alcester Nursery Studio to select two helpers for the popular switch-on.
The nursery organised a Christmas tree colouring competition which was then jugged by the High Bailiff of Alcester Steven Brown.
The lucky winners, Archer Fricker and Isla Preston, now have the honour of operating the master switch that will trigger the switching on of the town Christmas lights.
This takes place on Sunday, November 26 at 4pm from the Church Green.
