THE popular Alcester Male Voice Choir have been given a funding boost after Johnson’s Coach and Bus extended their sponsorship deal for a further 12 months.

The Henley-based firm will continue to provide the group with transport and help the choir get to their gigs on time, many of which have raised thousands of pounds for charities.

Choir founder and director of music Judith Land said: “We are delighted that Johnson's have agreed to support us once again.

“They are our coach operator of choice and we use them for all our concerts where coach transport is required including our European tours.

“They understand our requirements and offer sound advice and also understand that we need reliable transport to get us to concerts in good time. They are a pleasure to work with."

Commercial director of Johnson's John Johnson added: “Any organisation we form close links with must reflect the same high standards that we ourselves always aim for. With the Alcester Male Voice Choir that is certainly the case.

“They delight audiences time and time again with their quality of singing and varied repertoire and we know they strive for and achieve excellence time and time again."
