THE first show in Feckenham Village Hall’s 2017-18 Shindig season of live professional shows hits the stage on Sunday, October 1 with Truth and Truffles - an evening of comedy, stories, songs and chocolate.

It's an irresistible blend of humour and heart, delivered by two wonderfully gifted performers: Cat Weatherill and Naomi Paul.

The show, coming here direct from the Edinburgh Festival, celebrates Life as a 'Grown Up': the ups and downs, the regrets and rewards, the hopes and dreams.

It's about finding humour in the way we live now, and savouring the special moments… and the chocolate.

Cat Weatherill, on her third visit to Feckenham, has been captivating audiences the world over with her theatrical style and magical presence.

Her stories are beautifully crafted, funny and often moving.

The hilarious Naomi Paul takes her audiences on surreal journeys, from Birmingham to the Balkans via lingerie and libraries.

The show has been brought to Redditch’s rural outpost by Shindig - the county’s performing arts scheme – bringing live arts to the doorstep.

The show is sponsored by Arts Council England, Worcestershire County Council and Redditch Borough Council.

Truth & Truffles, Feckenham Village Hall, Sunday, October 1 – curtain up 7.30pm.

Doors open at 7pm and there’s a licensed bar (and some chocolates).
