POLICE officers in Headless Cross and Oakenshaw have been conducting extra patrols to crack down on fast food boy racers.
Officers have been conducting extra patrols in the area targeting motorists who congregate in large groups in the car parks of McDonald's and KFC.
They are also targetting boy races who use the Tesco Supermarket car park
The aim is to reduce dangerous and anti-social driving.
A police spokesman said that the operation will continue throughout the Autumn.
