A DAY of live music is on the billing in Studley this weekend as The Bell hosts a mini music festival to raise money for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Singers and artists including headline rock n’ roll covers band The Shakes will perform free of charge from 1pm to 10pm on Sunday, July 23, at the Alcester Road pub.

A raffle with prizes will also help raise funds.

Stephen Boswell, who has organised the event alongside Terry O’Sullivan, said: “We just thought let's make some money for the kids.

“The hospital does an amazing job and we all know somebody who's children may of needed this service in the past.”

Donations are welcome on the door.
