A BY-election has been called to fill a vacant councillor role at Bromsgrove District Council.
Conservative Roger Smith has stepped down from his Alvechurch Village ward position of two years after relocating to London.
The four candidates contesting the role are: Siobhan Hughes (Liberal Democrats), Luisa Nixon (Conservatives), Kate Van Der Plan (Independent), and Kenneth Wheatley (Independent).
The poll will take place on Thursday, June 8 – the same day as the UK General Election.
