Car on fire after motorists go the wrong way down A448 carriageway in Redditch
A CAR fire on the A448 Redditch Highway caused delays this afternoon (Thursday, March 15).
Emergency services attended the scene, just before 1.30pm.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said:"Two cars were turning around on the carriageway and going down the carriageway the wrong way.
"A small flatbed vehicle was well alight and extinguished with two hose reel jets.
West Midlands Police were on the scene to deal with traffic management.
