She also illuminated on the exciting expansion plans for the airport.

Phoebe Dawson, Growth Hub Manager from Worcestershire Business Central and from Worcestershire LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership) spoke to the managers about investment opportunities and funding within the county.

Linda Smith, Director for International Trade at the Department for International Trade (DIT) then spoke about exporting opportunities for local businesses, and finally, Sophia Haywood, Policy Executive at the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce spoke about how the Chamber supports businesses who export.

Mrs Lumley, who didn’t attend the whole event as she is still recovering from illness, said: “My Business Leaders’ meetings go from strength to strength and we seem to find ever interesting and relevant speakers to present to them.

“As we approach Brexit, I felt it was important to provide local businesses with as much help and advice as possible to enable them to spread their wings and look at different markets in which to export, and the speakers today were brilliant.”
