BROMSGROVE and Redditch residents are being invited to attend drop-in sessions to have their say on plans for the future of Worcestershire's health services.

The public consultation on the future of services including Kidderminster Hospital, the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch and the Worcestershire Royal Hospital, has reached its half way stage this week.

In the first five weeks of consultation nearly 800 people have attended meetings and drop-in sessions to hear more about the plans to reorganise hospitals in the county.

Residents are being asked to give their views about proposed changes to births, services for children, emergency surgery and emergency and urgent care services in Worcestershire.

As a result of the success of the drop-in sessions held so far, additional sessions have been organised.

Drop-in sessions will also take place in Studley, Malvern, Redditch, Droitwich, Kidderminster and Worcester in the coming weeks. Dates include:

  • Tuesday, February 21, Kidderminster Library, 4-7pm
  • Thursday, February, 23, Studley Village Hall, 4-7pm
  • Saturday, February 25, Malvern Library 10am-1pm
