BROMSGROVE and Redditch Soroptimists recently held a murder mystery evening to help raise cash for a good cause.

The event, at the home of one of the members, was set in 1940 in Cassablanca so gave everyone every opportunity to dress up for the part.

Members of the group and friends played all the parts while the characters then spent the evening questioning fellow guests to find out the mystery and eventually guess who dunnit.

The evening was in aid of The Meru Womens Garden Project, which helps to train women in Kenya to grow fruit and vegetables for their families and can also make money selling any surplus, helping to improve the health of their children and themselves.
