A REDDITCH woman is through to the semi finals of the prestigious Miss England competition.
Hayley Farmer was born in West Bromwich but moved to Redditch when she was young.
As part of the competition, Hayley, who has worked with a number of charities, has to raise money for Beauty With A Purpose.
The charity helps disadvantaged children across Worcestershire as well as raising cash and participating in humanitarian projects across the world.
The 24-year-old said helping raise cash and awareness for the charity was one of the reasons she decided to enter.
"I enjoy all fundraising, helping people, and just getting involved really," she said.
"It's about proving to people that you can achieve anything if you put your heart into it."
Hayley recently competed at the quarter finals of Miss England at The Sanctuary Workshops in Leicester where she came second and got a place in the semi finals of Miss England.
She said she was "so happy" with result.
