MEMBERS of the Birmingham Institute Of Theatre Arts will be at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre this weekend collecting for charity.

The group, performing their next show at Redditch’s Palace Theatre, is raising cash for Birmingham Children's Hospital.

They will be staging 13 the Musical, a grown-up story about growing up, later this year.

When his parents get divorced and he’s forced to move from New York to a small town in Indiana, Evan Goldman just wants to make friends and survive the school year.

With an unforgettable rock score from Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown, 13 is a hilarious, high-energy musical for all ages about discovering that cool is where you find it, and sometimes where you least expect it.

The show runs from September 8 to 10 including a Saturday matinee performance at 2.30pm.
