RESIDENTS are being invited to a meeting to find out more about the ongoing refugee crisis.
The aim of the meeting is to inform people in more detail about what is going on currently in Syria and Iraq.
There will be two expert speakers, including Shashank Joshi, a senior research fellow at the Royal United Services Institute, and there will be the chance for a question and answer session afterwards.
The meeting, free to attend, is at Alcester Town Hall on Friday, June 3 at 7.30pm.
There will be a collection on the night for The Alcester Refugee Fund, a group of individuals moved by a common desire to make a difference to the lives of refugees from Syria and Iraq.
