POLICE have released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to following a burglary in Mappleborough Green.

A male intruder forced entry to a house on Pratts Lane on Wednesday, February 3, just before 3pm.

He feld after being disturbed by the victim, a woman in her 40s and got into a vehicle, driving away in an unknown direction.

The man is white and about 5'7 in height, stocky build, a round face and no facial hair.

At the time of the incident he was thought to be wearing a navy blue hooded jacket and navy blue jeans.

Under his hood he wore a baseball cap with stars on it and a yellow peak.

Investigating officer Paul Gaston said: "We have released this image in the hope that it will help jog the memory of anybody who may have seen him on the night in question. I would encourage anybody who recognises this man to get in touch. Any information, no matter inconsequential you may think it, could help us with our investigation."

Anyone with information is urged to call 101 and quoting incident number 216 of Wednesday, February 3.
