YOUNG people in Redditch are being invited to attend a course designed to help them make healthy relationship choices.

The Crush Course aims to support and empower young people aged 13 to 19 and help them gain the skills, knowledge and tools to avoid abusive relationships and to exit an abusive relationship safely.

It is suitable for both sexes and especially for those who may be vulnerable to domestic abuse and also for those who are beginning to show signs of controlling behaviour.

It is being run at the Redi Centre on Tuesday, May 17.

A spokesman from the centre said the course is open to any individual who thinks they may benefit or a even a group of young people.

"We are looking at running several courses during the Summer holidays so maybe that may be better for a group of young people," they said.

The centre is also running a drugs and alcohol awareness session on Monday, May 16 starting at 4pm which lasts for two hours.

The course, run by Liam Kernan from Libraries and Learning, is for anyone who feels that they may benefit.
