THE family of a man, who died in a crash with a lorry earlier this week, has paid tribute to him.

John Dyer, aged 44 from Winyates East, sadly died after his black Nissan Qashquai collided with a white Mercedes lorry on Alders Drive, Redditch on April 25.

A sales rep in Redditch, John was said to love his job as he enjoyed meeting new people and travelling around.

His wife of 26 years Lisa said: "He loved helping people and was regularly fixing computers, cars, phones and lawnmowers.

"He enjoyed working on his cars and loved his Land Rovers. John spent a lot of time in his shed and in the garden, he would help anyone and would never say never.

"John will be sadly missed by his family and friends and we would like to thank everyone for their kind messages at this difficult time."

John was a loving father to Aiden and Natasha, and a loving husband to Lisa, his childhood sweetheart.

The family has asked for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time.

West Mercia Police is continuing their appeal for witnesses to the crash, which occurred just before 7.55pm on Monday, April 25.

Anyone with information is urged to contact PC Paul Bosley on 101, quoting incident number 0076S.
