TWO women have been robbed while walking in Smallwood, Redditch.
The victims, and another woman, were walking down Ipsley Street towards the Warwick Arms about 10.15pm on Saturday, April 23.
They then crossed over the road by Oswald Street and noticed a man, who had his face covered, behind them who they thought was following them.
The man approached the women and it is thought he was carrying a bladed weapon.
He did not say anything to them but the victims were frightened and ran away, dropping their belongings in the process.
The offender was then seen collecting all the items off the floor and has walked off towards the Trafford Retail Park.
The offender is described as white, about 25, with fair hair and was wearing a cream hooded top.
Anyone with any information about the incident is urged to call West Mercia Police on 101.
Information can also be given anonymously to the Independent Charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via crimestoppers-uk.org.
