THE Redditch Association for the Blind has helped improve the lives of those not able to get out and about.

The charity, which offers help to blind and partially sighted people Redditch, recently donated a number of USB memory stick players to Redditch Library.

The library will be introducing the devices to its Library Service at Home customers - those unable to leave their home and visit the library themselves.

Teresa Jordan, from Redditch Library, said: "These devices are an easy way to listen to books and we are excited to trial their use with our customers.

"Many thanks go to the Redditch Association for the Blind. We look forward to continuing to work with them in order to provide the best possible service to our customers."

The Redditch Library Service at Home is currently searching for a volunteer driver to join the team.
