RESIDENTS who have been or are at risk of pre-diabetes are being invited to a workshop.
Pre-diabetes, also commonly referred to as borderline diabetes, affects around 190,000 people in Worcestershire and if untreated can develop into type 2 diabetes.
Charity Independence Trust is offering a free workshops that will look at lifestyle changes that will potentially reduce the risk of developing diabetes.
Topics that will be covered include healthy cooking that won’t break the bank, healthy eating, supporting others and taking part in fun activities.
The workshop is on Wednesday, March 9 from 10am to noon at Winyates Medical Centre, Redditch
