VITAL repairs to Abbots Morton's 14th century bell tower have been completed.
As previously reported, St Peter's Church, in Abbots Morton, needed to raise £45,000 to repair the top of the crumbling stonework on its 14th Century bell tower.
The original target was £40,000 but the amount was later changed.
A number of fundraising events have been held throughout the year such as music concerts to reach the target.
Work got under way on the stonework earlier this year.
Colin Pemberton, chairman of Abbots Morton Bell Tower committee, thanked everyone who gave to the appeal, either in money, time, and effort supporting fundraising events.
"We eventually raised £45,000, enabling us to carry out a successful restoration which has been completed this week," he said.
"Stonemasons Ian and Becky Bishop of Tewkesbury Conservation Ltd have done a superb job, together with architect John Middleton of John C.Goom Ltd of Evesham, in securing the tower for future generations and anyone who wishes to visit our Grade I listed church near Inkberrow is more than welcome to do so."
