NO longer will members of the local community pass St. Philip’s Church in Webheath and not know its name, who the vicar is and when services take place.
A new sign with this information has been installed outside the church.
This is due to a generous donation from Worcestershire County Councillor Robin Lunn who agreed with the district church council that as the church is an important part of the local community, it is essential to keep the public informed.
The new sign is part of a drive to meet the needs of the local community by building an annexe to the church.
It is hoped the annexe will provide much needed facilities for local families.
Phase one is already underway and it is hoped to be able to raise the funds for phases two and three as quickly as possible.
